Market Scout alpha

What this test collects

Vertical Compass Group centrally records structured details about completed analyses—such as your tester ID, item description, prices, recommendation, confidence, photo count, and coarse device class—to evaluate and improve Market Scout.

Your complete saved history remains on this device first. When you enable customer synchronization, encrypted connections send analyses, listings, strategy, preferences, and up to three reduced source photos to Vertical Compass Group's private customer database so they can follow you to another supported device.

Synchronized photos are private customer records, not analytics records. They are not written to the alpha analytics repository or used for product research without separate permission.

Structured alpha analytics metadata is retained for up to 90 days. Synchronized customer history is retained until customer deletion or a separately disclosed retention policy applies. To request deletion, use the company contact page and include your tester ID.

Records can be deleted from the active private repository. Complete removal from prior Git history may require a special history-rewrite and GitHub purge procedure, so historical removal is not immediate or automatic. This GitHub-based storage system is temporary and limited to the ten-person alpha.
